Franz Josef Glacier township is the ideal location for your visit to Glacier Country. A two-hour drive south from Greymouth if you are travelling across from Christchurch on the TranzAlpine Express. A five-hour drive west from Christchurch or six hours north from Queenstown via the Haast Pass. Wanaka is four hours driving time also via the Haast Pass.
